Welcome

The World Health Organization (WHO) began the health promoting hospitals and health services movement in 1988. The goal is to integrate health in the culture, practice and organizational structure of the health care network. Thanks to the initiatives taken, patients, staff members and the public at large are able to play a more active role in improving their own health.
